1. What are the accommodation prices?
Please refer to price list.

2. What does your accommodation include?
Student accommodation in zone 2 in London. Please refer to our site for more detailed information.

3. What is the minimum stay?
4 weeks.

4. Do you accept families/children?
Our accommodation is for students exclusively, however we are sometimes able to make exceptions. Please contact us for more information.

5. Can I invite my parents, sisters, brothers to stay with me for a few days?
In order to offer and ensure comfort for our tenants, we do not allow visitors to sleep in the same bedroom. However, we may occasionally be able to make exceptions to this rule. Please contact us for more information.

6. Do you issue documents for visa purposes and send them to another country?
Yes, providing that full payment for 4 weeks is made.

7. Do you offer airport pick-up transfer?
Yes, we work with a taxi company which specializes in airport transfers. Please contact us for more information.

8. If we take the train from the airport, how can arrive at the accommodation?

We can meet you at Manor House tube station and take you to the house from there. In order to this:

First step: send us an e-mail confirming your flight number and arrival details in London.
Second step: contact Casalondres whilst still at the airport on one of our mobile numbers, this is essential, so we will know what time you arrive at Manor House station. Please refer our separate information sheet on how to arrive at our accommodation.

9. What to do when arriving at the station?
As soon as you arrive at the Manor House tube station, you should contact us again on our mobile numbers to establish your arrival. You leave the station via exit 2. We will be waiting for you outside the station and we will take you to the accommodation by car.

10. Do you provide linen, towel and personal care products?
We provide you linen, pillow, duvet, pillow case. We do not provide you with soap or towels etc..

11. How is the 4-week accommodation deposit administered?
Two weeks (2) is a deposit and the other two is for the rent which is paid in advance. The deposit will only be refunded on the moment of leaving our accommodation as long as two weeks notice has been given. The other two (2) weeks will count as rent paid in advance. After two weeks in our accommodation you will need to pay the rent for a further two weeks. The rent will be paid every two weeks until you leave the accommodation.

12. What if I damage anything? Will you take it off my deposit?
If Casalondres believes it to have been accidental damage, we will not deduct the cost from the deposit. However if we believe it has been done on purpose, or in reckless or careless use, it will be deducted from the deposit.
It is your responsibility to keep your bedroom clean. If the bedroom is not kept clean and tidy, we will arrange the bedroom to be cleaned and deduct the cost..

13. Is the accommodation clean?
Yes, this is our responsibility and the communal areas of the house are cleaned regularly: bathroom, kitchen, corridor, sitting rooms, etc. however it is your responsibility to leave the place clean after use. If you cook, you will also have to wash up, dry the ustensils and place them back in the cupboard. Your items of personal hygiene should be kept together with your property. We ask that all tenants show consideration for others by leaving facilities as clean as they are found.

14. Can I cook and do my laundry in the accommodation?
Yes, our kitchens are well equipped, with microwave, toasters, and other kitchen appliances, as well as a washing machine and some also have a tumble dryer.

15. Can I have an en suite bathroom?
No, our accommodation does not have en suite bathroom. Bathrooms are communal to all tenants.

16. Does the accommodation have a heating system?
Yes, all rooms are heated. It is on about 9 hours a day/night during the winter. During spring and summer the heating is turned off.

17. Who am I going to share the bedroom with?
You will share the bedroom with someone of the same gender (except for couples).

18. Do the bedrooms have keys?
Yes, they all have. Each tenant will have their own set of keys for the house and bedroom.

19. What furniture does the bedroom have?
Bedrooms are equipped with high quality furniture including: wardrobes, chest of drawers, beds, mattresses, and also TV and a fridge. The fridge can also be in the kitchen/lounge and not necessarily in the bedroom.

20. Do the houses have wireless router to connect my laptop?
Yes, they all have cable TV and high speed wireless internet connection for those who have their own laptop.

21. Does the accommodation have computers?
Yes, they all have one computer with webcam. They are only for the use of those who live in the accommodation and use is free.

22. Who are the other tenants in the accommodation?
They are students from all over the world.

23. Is the accommodation safe?
Yes, they are all well situated in areas where there is a constant flow of people, and also with easy access to public transport. It is important to remember that common sense will also help when it comes to safety.

24. Is there insurance for my personal property?
No, we don’t offer insurance for personal property and we do not take any responsibility for damages and loss that you may have in our accommodation. It is important to note that we have over 5 years experience and such situations have never happened before.

25. Do I need health insurance?
You have the choice of taking out your own health insurance. However every student (holding a full visa student status) has the right to register with a doctor (GP - General Practitioners) in the borough where they live. Medical and hospital services are free for students who are registered at a GP.

26. Can I book a single room?
We are not taking bookings at the moment due to the high demand for this type of bedrooms. You can request to be put on a waiting list if you are already living in our accommodation.

27. What happens if I book 4 weeks accommodation and my visa is refused or I am not let into the country?
We will retain one week plus the administrative fees and we will refund you the 3 weeks.

28. Can I smoke in my bedroom or in the house?
No, it is strictly prohibited to smoke or consume drugs in the accommodation. If anyone is caught infringing this rule, they will be asked to leave the accommodation immediately.
